Trentham Monkey Forest Guides

Trentham Monkey Forest Guides

Trentham Monkey Forest is unique to the UK, with 140 free-roaming Barbary macaques living within a 60-acre forest. We are looking for confident, friendly, customer focused people to join our exceptional team of guides. In this role, you will work in close proximity to the monkeys, monitoring their welfare, and delivering feeding talks to large audiences, as well as ensuring visitors experience an informative and enjoyable visit. The ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment, both within a team and on your own is important. All training will be given in-house.

We have 2 positions available. One runs from 7th July until 4th November and includes all weekends, plus becomes full-time in school holidays. The second position starts on the 21st July and will run as a full-time position for the duration of the school summer holidays until 3rd September. You will be required to work all weekends and bank holidays. Please make it clear on your application which position/s you would like to be considered for.

The vacancy will close once we have hired suitable candidates. If you have not heard within 2 weeks of your application I am afraid you have been unsuccessful.

To apply: Please complete the recruitment form, located on the website’s vacancies page: www.monkey-forest.com/vacancies

Please note: Applications will not be accepted without all 3 documents, ‘CV’, ‘Covering Letter’ and ‘Availability Form’ which can be downloaded from our website: www.monkey-forest.com/vacancies.
