We currently have a temporary vacancy for a Seasonal Browse Worker to join our busy Animal Supplies Department, which provides key services to the animal sections including the daily harvesting, collection and distribution of browse (leafy branches for animal food), in addition supporting the general manual work and operation of the department across the Zoo

The successful candidate will have:

  • A full driving licence valid in the UK and one which allows them to tow a trailer heavier than 750kg (licence category E)
  • Experience of working in a team

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience of agriculture and arboriculture would be beneficial
  • Experience and certification in the use of chainsaws

Hours of work are 40 per week, working from 7am to 3.30pm Monday – Friday, although some flexibility is required to cover weekends when needed.
