We are seeking a confident, outgoing, full time Zoo Keeper with a minimum of two years’ experience working with animals. An outgoing personality and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the general public (including undertaking animal encounters) are essential.

Drusillas Park is a family run business and has earned a reputation as being one of the best small zoos in Europe with a wide range of animals from red pandas and two toed sloths to binturongs and boasts a diverse collection of Primates. Our animal sections are mixed taxa, new keepers are trained by experienced keepers in our high standards of animal husbandry, we encourage career progression and development.

We welcome applications from anyone who has the relevant experience and has a positive and approachable attitude with a good work ethic. Applicants must have a full driving licence and a car.  It is advantageous for the applicants to have completed the Diploma in the Management of Zoo and Aquarium Animals or similar and that lives in the local area.  We offer a competitive salary, subsidised lunches, staff benefits and a sensible relocation package (if required).
