KEEPER VACANCY

DUBLIN ZOO holds the prestigious position of being `Ireland's No. 1 Fee Paying Visitor Attraction' having welcomed in excess of 900,000 visitors during 2007.

We are seeking an experienced keeper to strengthen our animal care team.

We are looking for a person who has a passion for wildlife coupled with the skills required to communicate this passion and knowledge directly to our visitors. If you feel you have what it takes to join the committed team at Dublin Zoo, then we want to hear from you.

Applicants should hold a recognised qualification in animal care or equivalent and have experience in the care of zoo animals. As part of the animal care team, you are required to maintain detailed animal records, administer treatments under veterinary supervision, make detailed observations of animals and be able to communicate well with the visitors and of course fellow team members.
