About Us

Crealy Theme Park & Resort is the South West’s largest family theme park attraction and is home to over 60 rides, attractions and live shows and zoo. Set in over 100 acres of countryside the business also consists of a large luxury lodge and camping resort that includes uniquely themed glamping accommodation.

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced animal keeper with some supervisory experience to join our dedicated Animals Team here at Crealy Theme Park and Resort.

You will be working with our team of keepers caring for our collection of domestic, farm, exotic (reptiles and inverts) and zoo animals. 

You will be assisting the Head Keeper/Deputy Head Keeper with supervising and training in the department and deputising in their absence.  This is a physical hands-on role which will involve feeding, cleaning, monitoring health, enclosure maintenance and record keeping whilst always ensuring high animal welfare standards. 
You will also play a key part in delivering our programme of interactive animal experiences, talks and shows. 

Experience working with a wide variety of animals
Confident delivering talks and shows to audiences of all ages
Ability to work as part of a team as well as alone
Previous supervisory and training experience 
Be able to work to a flexible rota including early mornings, weekends and school holidays
Excellent customer service skills, ensuring all our guests have a memorable experience

A full driving licence is essential for this role

Every department here at Crealy Theme Park and Resort focuses on the safety of our guests and all team members as a number one priority. Each role will undertake department specific Health & Safety training, alongside wider Theme Park and Resort training. 

Excellent Salary dependent on experience, plus 30 days holiday
