About The Role

As an Aquarist, you will actively participate in feeding schedules, food preparation, daily maintenance of in-tank and external facilities, water analysis, and animal observations. You will also participate in successful culturing regimes of live foods and animals.

The Aquarist will ensure that best animal welfare practices are in accordance with marine education, research, and conservation. Priority of this role will be to maintain the aquarium exhibits and cultures in accordance with routine and preventative maintenance programs above and in water. Proper husbandry techniques will be used to ensure the optimal health of animals to include quarantine procedures, water quality analysis and record keeping.
