We are looking for a
Trainee Keeper in the Bird department.
The role involves the day to day husbandry of a large and diverse
collection of birds focusing on animal welfare, bio-security, record keeping
and ensuring that exhibits are maintained to the highest standards. Previous experience within a zoo or similar
establishment would be an advantage as well as some aviculture experience. You will have a basic knowledge of husbandry
practices and how they are implemented and be reliable with good time-keeping
and attendance.
