team.
Your
contribution will be:
- Supporting the lead veterinarian
with all duties relating to the daily veterinary work and health
management of rescued bile bears and, on occasion, other species
- Monitoring animals under
anesthesia during veterinary health exams, surgery, dentistry, and other
procedures, including taking samples administering medication and taking
protocols
- Preparing veterinary equipment
and supplies for procedures including anesthesia, surgery, radiology,
ultrasonography, routine and emergency examinations, animal rescues and
transport
- Providing care for bears in quarantine,
hospitalised bears, or those on den rest for medical reasons
- Performing laboratory work such
as, coproscopy, cytology, and blood work
- Maintaining the veterinary
clinic to a high level of hygiene, as well as managing stock inventory and
ordering
