Zoo Animal Nutritionist
Contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,404 per annum
Location: Bristol Zoo Gardens
Contract Type: 2 year Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for an experienced nutritionist
with a PhD in animal nutrition or a related field to join our veterinary team
and help us to maintain optimal animal health and welfare. You should have a detailed understanding of
zoo animal nutrition and dietary analysis and experience using dietary analysis
software and of applied nutritional research.
You will also be required to train HE students in zoo and wild animal
nutrition through the provision of formal and informal teaching and to
supervise nutrition related research projects, so previous teaching experience would
be an advantage.

communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a collaborative
