We are pleased to announce that a number of summer internships will be available through the Learning and Discovery department in 2015. These positions are ideal for those looking to gain valuable experience in zoo / science education, and are also applicable for trainee teachers looking to broaden their experience and work in and out of classroom setting. Those with an interest in an animal or conservation based careers are also encouraged to apply.

Internships will be for 10 weeks: 22nd June – 31st August 2015.

You will be expected to attend 4/7 days - this includes weekends. Hours of attendance will vary according to the activities you are assigned to which are likely to be one of three shifts - 10-2.30pm, 12-4.30pm or 9-4pm therefore flexibility is required.

Successful applicants will experience a broad range of education activities and build their competencies. Supported at all times by members of the permanent Learning and Discovery team you will build skills and knowledge valuable to future employers in the education, science, zoological or conservation sector.
