Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Wage: Dependent upon experience
Duration: Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the keeper team at one of Wales’ leading tourist attractions, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo in the heart of Pembrokeshire.
You’ll be predominantly based on the hoofstock section, but will also be working with a range of species across a variety of sections with responsibility for all aspects of animal care, including daily cleaning and feeding regimes, upkeep of animal records and maintenance of hygiene, working to strict safety protocols and standard operation procedures. With a mission to exceed guest expectations and work towards the future, you’ll also help to create magical moments for our guests to treasure by delivering feeding experiences and daily talks.

A full driving licence is essential, with experience of agricultural vehicles also advantageous. You’ll need to have a proven work history, with a minimum of 2 years, of working in a Zoo or Safari Park desirable. Qualifications to degree level in Zoology or a related subject also desirable.

To be part of our Folly Farm family, you’ll need to have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with strong communication and team work skills. Must be flexible in your working hours and willing to work weekends/Bank Holidays.
