oriented conservation charity, Marwell Wildlife’s desire is to connect people

two key things. The impression we create through our 140 acre zoological park,
Marwell Zoo, with its wide array of exotic and endangered species and the

An opportunity has
arisen to join our Animal Management Team as a Team leader of the Bird section.
We have exciting
plans for our collection and exhibits, offering great opportunities for
creative project and team work. This role is responsible for coordinating &
supervising daily operations of the team, under the direction of the Collection
Manager, therefore excellent communication, organisational and people
management skills are essential.
The successful
candidate must have an extensive knowledge and wide-ranging experience of the
management of Birds.
Candidates must hold
a minimum Level 3 ANC/DMZAA or equivalent qualification in animal management or
biological sciences. In return we will offer you support, training and

Accommodation may be
available on a short term basis to the successful candidate. Please note this
would incur a rental cost. Due to the need to drive park vehicles, candidates
must also hold a full driving license valid for the UK.
