Personal skills and attributes
· Must be
comfortable speaking conversational English
· Excellent public
speaking skills, good memory and a story-teller
· Excellent customer
service and people skills, personable, friendly and helpful
· Adaptable and good
at problem solving under pressure
· Ability to work
alone and self-motivated
· Prior experience
in the conservation industry
· Preferred full or
multi-day tour guiding experience
· Preferred
background working hands on with wildlife
· Preferred ability
to drive a manual car or willingness to learn
Responsibilities of
the Position
· Lead and support
behind-the-scenes tours of Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Centre
· Supervise wildlife
interactions and ensure the safety of animals and guests
· Manage bookings,
including telephone calls, emails, and online booking applications
· Communicate with
clients, hotels, booking agents, travel companies and donors
· Design and
implement a project of your choosing, with approval from Manager
