Owl Manager
Owl Manager required for the largest Owl Centre in Wales
We are looking for a full time Owl Manager to work as part of a small team and take
the lead role in training, flying and imprinting our owls. This person must have a
passion for owls and be knowledgeable in all aspects of their husbandry. You will
also need to be good with the public and have excellent customer service and
communication skills, as we are a very customer focused company.

Experience and confidence in handling and training birds of prey is essential
as the successful applicant will be required to work with a range of species.
We are a small team, so everyone has to partake in all tasks required for the
day to day running of the centre. This includes cleaning, maintenance, providing
flying experiences for the public, giving educational talks to school groups etc.

The right person will preferably have previous people management experience
but this is not essential. Teamwork is key to our success and the right Owl
Manager will be self-motivated and enthusiastic.

The role is permanent; 40 hours over 5 days per week including weekends
and bank holidays on rotation. A level of flexibility is expected and hours may
vary from summer to winter based on the tourism season.
A 6 month probation period will apply.

A full clean driving licence is crucial as we are in a rural location in
Pembrokeshire.

Start date for the successful candidate will be March 1st 2019 if possible
