Salary: £16,881 pa 
37 hours per week over 7 days on a rota system

If you have a commitment to a high standard of animal husbandry and an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Animal Care – we may have just the job for you as an animal keeper at our popular Tropical World attraction in Leeds, which houses a variety of exotic animals, reptiles and aquatics.

You will need to work as part of the team on a 7 day rota basis and should have specific knowledge related to the need of aquatics, exotic species and their specialised requirements.

You will assist with the feeding and movement of the animals along with cleaning, re-dressing and maintaining their enclosures and ponds. Keeping accurate records and making observations relating to animal welfare. Bending and lifting will be essential in this role and the ability to lift 20kg bags of animal feed.

Salary details: A1 - £15,916

37 hours per week over 7 days on a rota system.

If you have a commitment to a high standard of animal husbandry and an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Animal Care – we may have just the job for you as an Animal Keeper at our popular Tropical World attraction in Leeds, which houses a variety of exotic animals, reptiles and aquatics.

You will need to work as part of the team on a 7 day rota basis and should have specific knowledge related to the need of aquatics, exotic species and their specialised requirements. Experience in working with large mammals is a desirable element. You will assist with the feeding and movement of the animals, cleaning, decorating and maintaining the enclosures and ponds, which will involve bending and lifting and keeping accurate records relating to animal welfare.
