Dreamworld Corroboree is one of the largest native wildlife parks in South East Queensland with 100’s of native animals including the second largest koala population.

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide the highest standard of animal care for our captive animal collection and maintain the enclosures and exhibits.  Tasks include feeding, cleaning, record keeping and animal enrichment.

This is a physically demanding role that involves animal husbandry tasks and manual handling, therefore the ability to perform physically demanding work is essential. Sound written and verbal communication skills are essential as interaction with a diverse range of people from differing cultures is involved, and report writing and record keeping is a requirement of the role.

Senior Wildlife Attendant – Veterinary Nurse Higher Duties

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide the highest standard of animal care for our captive animal collection, and maintain the enclosures and exhibits.  Tasks include feeding, cleaning, record keeping and animal enrichment.

 

Additionally, the successful applicant will cover the Head Vet Nurse's days off and annual leave in the Veterinary Clinic.  Tasks include daily animal husbandry and treatments in a hospital and quarantine setting; veterinary nursing for a range of species in a zoo environment; high level of record keeping; administrative duties; management of veterinary resources and assets as required.
