Job Description
Provides direction, leadership and management of the conservation, animal husbandry and administration of the Life Sciences program. Participates as a member of the Corporate Executive.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following three (3) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
- Substantial knowledge, understanding and experience of captive animal management and wildlife conservation (supported by appropriate qualifications in, and experience with, captive animals).
- Demonstrated leadership skills which builds organisational capacity, agency responsiveness and delivers outcomes.
- Successful demonstrated experience in management including budgeting, staff and performance management.
Note: In accordance with relevant legislation and departmental policy, the successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
