Two Feet Four Paws is looking for an experienced exotics veterinarian to
join our expanding team in Dubai, UAE.
Dubai is a growing, liberal city in the Middle East. It is centrally
positioned with equal travel times to Asia and Europe and a great hub for
globetrotting. It has the shopping, nightlife and restaurants of any
international city but also the benefit of beaches, desert camping and the
climate for an outdoor lifestyle.
Two Feet Four Paws is a private veterinary practice providing care for exotic
pets and small animals. We are a local referral centre for exotics and also provide
veterinary care for a number of zoo and aquaria collections in the region
dealing with a wide range of species.
The successful candidate will primarily deal with exotic patients at the
clinic in Dubai Land however the opportunity exists for the right candidate to
grow their experience in zoo and aquaria work.
Experience with small animals (dogs and cats) commensurate with 5 years’
experience will be beneficail.
The clinics have excellent facilities including high
specification ultrasound, IM3 dental machines, digital radiography, dental
radiography, electrosurgery, Idexx Laboratory facilities, and endoscopic/
laparoscopic equipment.
The successful candidates will enjoy no out of hours
work, excellent private healthcare, a competitive tax free salary (commensurate
with experience) with a production based bonus and a 5 day week.
The position would suit a veterinarian with at least 5
years’ combined experience in exotics/small animal / zoological work. A
postgraduate qualification in Zoological Medicine such as a Certificate or MSc
(WAH) would be favorable.
Applicants must be able to become registered with the Dubai
Municipality / Ministry for which 5 years of continuous post graduate
employment must be shown.
