create through our 140 acre zoological park, Marwell Zoo, with its wide array
of exotic and endangered species and the family of talented people we employ

An
exciting opportunity has arisen for an Animal Keeper to join our Carnivores
team on a full time basis, working 40 hours per week over 5 days. Our Animal
Keepers must have a strong generalist background with zoological experience as
they may be required to work on a variety of sections. On this occasion
however, an interest and previous experience with Carnivores would also be an
advantage.
Animal Keepers
are responsible for carrying out all aspects of animal care, including
husbandry routines, managerial operations and environmental enrichment, and
supporting veterinary intervention as required.
The
successful candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, have the
ability to use their initiative, display an interest in and commitment to
animal welfare and conservation, and must possess strong communication skills
