Is seeking an
EDUCATION MANAGER
Full time position, working 9 am- 5 pm, Monday to Friday (with some flexibility).
The National
Zoological Society of Wales is seeking an Education Manager to ensure the successful running of the Welsh
Mountain Zoo's Education
& Learning Department through hands-on efficient management of the many
relevant duties involved with this role.
The successful
candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant science and will be an
honest, organised, flexible and cheerful person with good numeracy, literacy, teaching
and communication skills.
Good references
will be essential.
If not already a fluent Welsh speaker, the post holder
will be required to undertake training to a level of competency appropriate to
the needs of the job.
The post holder will also be required to undertake a
post graduate teaching qualification if they do not already have one.
Please note the Education and Learning Department is
essentially a single person department, with responsibility for assistants from
time to time.
