Wildlife Veterinarian Mentor

Wildlife Veterinarian Mentor
Save Vietnam’s Wildlife

Interested in spending 12 months as a Wildlife Veterinarian Mentor? Come and join the work of Save Vietnam's Wildlife (SVW) in rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing animals that are confiscated from the illegal wildlife trade, such as Pangolins, Civets, Leopard Cats, Otters and other species.

Based in the beautiful Cuc Phuong National Park (about 2 hours south of Hanoi) this position is funded by the Australian Volunteer Program. The monthly allowance will allow you to live comfortably in Vietnam, with your food and accommodation, flights to and from the assignment, relocation allowances at the beginning and end of the assignment, health insurance and costs associated with pre-departure briefings in Melbourne and "In Country training" in Hanoi all being covered by the Program.

There will also be opportunities for you to travel to the new SVW Wildlife Rescue & Conservation Breeding Centre which is being established at Pu Mat National Park (about 8 hours south of Hanoi) and work with the bears, primates, turtles and other species currently being held there.

If you have any specific questions about this opportunity, you can also email me at;

Geoff Underwood,
Pu Mat Development Advisor,
Save Vietnam's Wildlife.

Please note:
Program volunteers must be Australian citizens or holders of a Permanent Residency Visa of Australia, or New Zealand residents in Australia with a Special Category Visa.

Applications close: 18th March 2020.
