nature-based science centers. We provide services from concept design to
managing daily operations and everything in between. With over 100 full time
employees from all over the globe, zoOceanarium Group consist of animal care
specialists, animal trainers, veterinarians, design specialist, project
managers and operational staff.
zoOceanarium Group
is continuing to expand their team and looking to recruit a talented Animal
Training Manager for several of our projects in the United Arab Emirates. As
the Animal Training Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the
development and implementation across several locations with a variety of
species. Experience with birds, big cats and small mammals is essential.
Experience with leading animal behavior training programs is essential.
Duties:
• Develop
content that is engaging, dynamic and educational
• Develop
training schedules and time lines for program animals
• Train
and maintain animal behaviors using primary positive reinforcements
• Liaise
with client and management to ensure presentations are in line with company
standards
• Ensure
animal welfare, training techniques and handling guidelines are as per our
company standards
• Manage
a team of animal trainers and presenters during development stages and ongoing
operations
• Assist
in the training of program animals, not only overseeing
• Educate,
motivate and engage training staff
• Develop
scripts and SOP’s

Position Requirements:
• +5
years management experience managing small team
• Experience
working with birds, big cats and small mammals essential
• Experience
with leading animal behavior training programs is essential
• Excellent
public speaking and presentations skills
• Good
organizational and communication skills
• Must
be able to work in a dynamic multi-cultural team
• Must
be have a driver’s license
• Willing
to work shifts (early mornings and late nights)
