SENIOR TRAINING VETERINARIAN - CHINA
We are seeking a dynamic individual for the unique role of Senior Training Veterinarian to join our team at the Chengdu Bear Rescue Centre (CBRC), China. This is an exciting new position that will involve the ongoing development and implementation of a 12 month training programme aimed at improving the education and skills of Chinese veterinarians.
The Senior Training Veterinarian will head up a small team responsible for the delivery of quality veterinary education to experienced and newly graduated vets. The position will involve a range of collaborations and the successful applicant will be required to build upon established working relationships as well as develop new collaborations and opportunities for the training programme. The successful applicant will be required to work with experienced veterinary nurses, specialists and veterinarians both in China and internationally in order to deliver a well rounded training programme. Approved applicants will be required to travel within Asia and participate in outreach and training projects.
The position will involve development of a small animal teaching hospital, as well as overseeing of expenditure of donated funds for this project. Potential applicants must be fluent in English or bilingual (English and Mandarin), have a minimum of 10 years clinical experience, as well as a passion and commitment to education. Experience in education and teaching is desired but not essential.
